From the very beginning of Campaign 4, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of characters, and a exciting storyline including angels, demons, and malevolent powers increasing in influence within the city.

The Warrior Group Revealed
The third episode concluded with a major cliffhanger and presented the first table of heroes who will separate from the primary party to begin their separate journey, apart from the other two tables.
This warrior group consists of Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), the agile character (Laura), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (Sam), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie).
The Reason for Division
Considering an extensive roster, it was obvious from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.
Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Overture, intertwining the characters’ stories before dividing into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Strategists, and Explorers.
The Nature of the Soldiers Table
According to the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for participants who enjoy a typically action-packed battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.
Initially, characters like the hesitant healer Wicander might seem out of place, but the actions of episode 3 show why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.
Why They Must Go
For one thing, the group has a clear idea where to proceed after a violent initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
An old friend of Thjazi—whose demise kicked off the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, entering the hidden lair, striking the character, and stealing all the magical artifacts to auction.
The traitor then cleared his debts and ran away to a secure base in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Cyd pursuing him.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each member has a individual motive to exit the urban setting:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants retribution.
- The adventurer has experience in the northern area and advises that it is a nasty place.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having defied his family’s wishes to kill the target and instead rescued him, have no safe haven.
- Yet, their position as important members in the influential clan could assist the party reach areas they normally couldn’t.
- Furthermore, The fighter swore a unbreakable promise to The savior for his deliverance and will now accompany him everywhere.
Fugitives
In addition, all of them are hunted by the powers that rule the city for a multiple motives, making staying in the city too risky:
- The rogue and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
- The warrior and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the legion of demons they are aligned with.
- Teor is targeted for elimination by the family.
This leaves them no alternative but to travel to the northern region in search of the antagonist.
